Full Review

While you can learn CSS from many sources, no tutorials we've seen are written with the clarity and ease of understanding the author has put into CSS Made Easy. This ebook lives up to its name, but you'd expect that from the author of Web Site Design Made Easy (a web design book used as the teaching text at high schools and colleges).

This ebook doesn't just throw code examples at you like so many others and say, do it this way. While there are plenty of code examples, it's impractical (if not impossible) to show every HTML/CSS combination possible. CSS Made Easy has you covered. CSS is explained so that you understand it and know how to use it in situations where examples aren't given.

As they say, give a man to fish and you feed him for a day. Teach him to fish and you feed him for a lifetime. That's why it's so important to actually understand CSS beyond copy and paste code examples. You'll be able to implement CSS into your web pages without having to search the web for how-to information. No more code fishing because you'll have the perfect resource at hand!

Included with CSS Made Easy are all the CSS Reference Charts. The charts list all the properties and values and include examples of usage, and they're easy to understand as well. Sweet!

CSS Master is also included, which is a simple fill-in-the-blanks (color, size, etc) software program that generates the CSS code for all the basic stuff. It gives you a head start on your style sheets so you don't have to code everything by hand. Very handy indeed, especially for those hard-to-remember-how-to-code colored scrollbars!

The last item included is an 18-page Glossary of Internet Terms for Webmasters. It, too, is very handy to have on hand.

All-in-all you get four great products, three directly about CSS and one that defines Internet terms webmasters you'll refer to over and over. This is one excellent package for the money.

Hint: Take the 10 question CSS Quiz on the sales page to learn how to get an unadvertised 10 percent discount!
